Numis 


Numis was born out of a coin collecting hobby. A quick survey of coins from the late medieval to modern periods to today led to this unicase design. The rounded corners and smoothed edges are meant to evoke a the slightly worn letterfaces found on old coins; a process that tends to bolden the text before being rubbed away completely.

Jorge Mano


Jorge Mano is inspired by the 20th century poet and author Jorge Luis Borges and the very unique way he writes. Notably, the lack of a lowercase ‘t’ and the use of the capital in its place. Borges sports a mix of cursive and sans inspired forms. Jorge Mano comes with 3 alternates for every letter and an opentype feature to automatically randomize them.

Merganser


Merganser is a Typeface intended for text and copy and was inspired to serve the avid community of Birders. Birders and birding material historically have a lot to say. Merganser serves that tendency because its designed legible at small scales. The Natural world also inspires the slightly humanist strokes of Merganser.

Merganser was created as part of the Type@Cooper winter certificate in Type Design.

Paper Clip


Paper Clip is a display typeface that is inspired by the design language and rhythm of paper clips. With a little touch of the Art Deco, letterforms are imagined as bent wire creating rigid parallels and tight circles.

Wordsearch


Wordsearch is a modern grotesque that aims to capture all the ubiquity and none of the flair of such everyday typefaces as Helvetica, Arial, and Open Sans. As a result wordsearch is great for large amounts of text, ui/ux elements, and even the odd newspaper puzzle.
